About Us
Adventure Pro Outdoors is the headquarters for our River Trips, ATV/UTV Rentals. We are an independently, family owned and operated local business in the Star of Hocking Hills – Nelsonville, OH. We have been in the cabin rental business since 2013 and the canoe livery business since 2015. We are constantly looking for ways to expand and improve our business, hence the creation of Adventure Pro Outdoors in 2020.
At Adventure Pro Outdoors, we are the experts in outdoor fun! Our team is passionate about partaking in outdoor adventures in the Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest region of Southeast Ohio. We are here to help customers get ready to partake in an outdoor adventure themselves. OR guests can partake in outdoor adventures with us through our canoe, kayak, or tube rentals on the Hocking River and our half/full day guided ATV/UTV tours on Wayne National Forest.
Our outdoor retail store carries a variety of outdoor gear and equipment for hunting, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, cycling, and much more. We are constantly evaluating our inventory and on the search for quality equipment to ensure our customers have access to the newest and best products. Want us to get certain equipment or brands in? At Adventure Pro Outdoors, we consider ourselves The Experts in Outdoor Fun. We believe that experiencing the outdoors is important for everyone. Hocking Hills, Ohio is a MUST SEE destination when traveling to Southeast, Ohio. However, there is A LOT more for you to experience, explore, and enjoy. We utilize the Hocking River and Wayne National Forest to help show our customers an experience of a lifetime.
Unique Experiences
We are a company that strives to give our customers unique experiences. We hope that our experiences will create memories that last a lifetime. We are constantly looking for new avenues and events to help get people outdoors. We offer canoe, kayak, and tube rentals on the Hocking River. As of Spring 2021, we were the first company in Southeast, Ohio to utilize Wayne National Forest for ATV/UTV rentals as a tourist attraction. We are known for hosting large tubing events every summer that help bring in thousands of tourists to Nelsonville and the surrounding areas.

Our Equipment
We are constantly investing in new equipment to help ensure our customers have an enjoyable experience. We use Old Town Canoes and Kayaks, Tube Pro Premium River Tubes, and 2021 CF Moto ATVs and UTVs.
Our Headquarters
Adventure Pro Outdoors is the headquarters for our River Trips, ATV/UTV Rentals, and 1st Choice Lodging Company (hyper link). Our outdoor retail store is a great location for any outdoor enthusiast. We carry supplies ranging from camping, fishing, hunting, water sports, outdoor apparel, and more. Some well-known brands that we carry include: Pelican, MSR, Therm-A-Rest, Venum Lures, Mountain Khakis, and much more! If there are any brands or recommendations, let us know and our team will work diligently on getting inventory in.
On top of this, we also have a Flea & Farmer’s Market with 28, 10×10 vendor booths opening June 2021. This is going to be a great place for vendors to set up as we see over 20,000 customers a year. This is a great place for our customers to check out for antiquing and thrifting.

Our Murals
Our murals themselves could be a reason why customers are intrigued to stop. We currently have 2 beautiful murals painted by Erica Ardnts – an artist from Dayton, Ohio. She first painted our “Welcome to Nelsonville” mural which portrays Conkle’s Hollow, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, and Old Man’s Cave. We plan on adding more murals, making us a mural destination in Hocking Hills!

At Adventure Pro Outdoors, our customers are top priority. We aim to provide a great customer experience from the first phone call. Our team is here to help customers get ready to partake in outdoor adventures themselves OR help guests partake in a new outdoor adventure with us! No matter the experience, we go over adequate training and safety with each of our customers to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Family Owned & Operated
We are an independently, family owned and operated local business in the Star of Hocking Hills – Nelsonville, OH. We have been in the tourism business since 2015 and we are constantly looking for ways to expand and improve our business. Our goal is to help grow Nelsonville by bringing in more tourism, business, and job opportunity.

We are centrally located to Athens and Logan, Ohio. We are in Nelsonville, Ohio at 1299 E. Canal St. Nelsonville, OH 45764. You cannot miss our beautiful building! Painted in murals that portray local attractions and the beauty of the outdoors.
